MARY ANN VAN DER HORST – stellar performance night at The X-Factor Australia 2014

July 15, 2014 – The X Factor Australia Auditions has featured another great talent from a Filipina.

Mary Ann Van Der Horst made a stellar performance of “Halo” by Beyounce. In the middle of her audition night while singing, Ronan Keating said ” I was not expecting this at all” The X-Factor judges smiled on each other as Mary Ann perfomed. As the song went on high notes, the crowd cheered positvely for Mary Ann. The audition night ended with a standing ovation from the four X-Factor judges.

Redfoo said “performance was spectacular”. Danii said her performance was brilliant and she loved it.Nat said she’s excited. Ronan said he thought Mary Ann is not serious and cannot sing but he was so wrong. “You owned the song and that was incredible to watch,”

Mary Ann Van Der Horst received four yeses from the X Factor Australia Auditions.

“I define my music in the album like a mix genre of songs..because I like all kind of music.. but about my style I think I sound like a rock diva, because of my powerful and husky voice but sometimes I can also do a hiphop,pop, rnb, love songs & country songs and when I having a show it’s like it is not me because of being so energetic and different on stage..It’s like Beyonce that she is kinda shy type of person but on stage she act professionally…….. My influences are Beyonce, Adele, Alicia keys, Roxette, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Evanescence, Celine Dion and Aegis “
