Iloilo sunod na assignment ni Espenido

Mismong si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang nag announce na ang Iloilo province and next assignment ni Police Chief Inspector Jovie Espenido.

Binigyan din ni Duterte ng Magalong Medal, Order of Lapu Lapu award ang opisyal sa isang programa sa Heroes Cemetery sa Taguig City sa paggunita ng National Heroes Day noong Lunes.

‘The award is given to both public and private individuals who rendered extraordinary service or have made exceptional contributions to the success of an activity pursuant to a campaign or activity of the president”

Si Espenido ay magugunita na nanguna sa drug raid operation sa Ozamiz City noong Julio at napatay si Mayor Reynaldo Parojinog, kasama ang kanyang asawa at 13ng iba pa nang ang mga ito ay manlaban umano sa mga pulis.

Noong November, si Espinido rin ang dating hepe ng pulis sa Leyte nang mapatay sa kanyang selda si Albuera, Leyte Mayor Rolando Espinosa

Sa kanyang talumpati sinabi ni Duterte na ang Iloilo ay “most shabulized province in the country” at nasa narcolist niya ang mayor ng Iloilo.

Samantala ipinahayag ni Magdalo Congressman Gary Alejano na ang pag assign kay Espenido sa Iloilo ay hindi coincidence kundi sumusunod lang sa order ng pangulo

“A police officer of a rank of a Chief Inspector threatening a mayor is uncalled for and highly unusual. He is being used as a hatchet man of his administration

Ayon naman kay Akbayan Congressman Tom Villarin “ I understand Mayor Mabilog has been sworn in as PDP Laban and now an ally of the president. If PCI Espenido will continue his nihilist campaign against alleged illegal drug personalities then the mayor is not safe”

Ikinumpara ni Villarin ang police operation ni Espenido sa “Wild, Wild West, Dead or Alive but mostly Dead”

Sabi naman ni Iloilo Mayor Jed Mabilog kay Espinido “ He’s welcome but I pray to God for his protection”
